so I don’t talk about myself too much on here. but my long-time collaborator Olivia Pepper and I are currently launching a mixed-use artspace in east austin. it will serve as studio space, as well as a location for shows, events, performances, workshops, skillshares, and more. we have the building but just launched our kickstarter to help raise funds for reconstruction, paint, gallery quality lights, rewiring, and a bit of stability when it comes to next month’s rent. we’ve got some really great rewards, and even if you (like me) are totally broke, please take a moment to spread the word. it would mean a lot; this is very important to me. thank you!

tothebatfax asked: Sorry to be bothering you again, but I had a quick question. I'm not an artist; I'm far more comfortable with words as a medium. But I've been delving into drawing lately, and I was curious what pens you use? If you have any advice for this strange artist growing within me, I'd be very happy. Thanks!
Currently, I use faber-castell artist pens (the fine) for my outlines and ballpoint for my infill. In the past I have used fine sharpies, microns, prismacolor pens, ad markers, and many more. I experiment fairly often with what looks interesting (and is on sale) at the art store, but faber-castell is a constant winner. They’re good for writing as well. Best of luck!
